What to expect in this course?

In this course, we will guide you on how to empower your immune system. You will learn about the inner workings of your body: how practical exercises and small changes in habits can support your entire system, to become healthier and more energetic in your everyday life. 

Your immune system is a superhero! It defends you against external invaders and foreign substances, such as toxins, viruses or bacteria. However, it’s all too often attacked by our stressful or unbalanced lifestyle.

An intact immune system is not only there to help you avoid colds. It is, in fact, the foundation of your mental and physical health. By strengthening and regenerating it, you will feel well rested, energized and equipped, with a new drive – transforming your mind and body through knowledge and practical exercises.

Each week, together with our scientists and practitioners, we will focus on one of our four pillars: Mental Resilience, Nutrition, Physical Movement and Sleep.

Let’s start with learning to say, “No”. Why is that? The psychologist Dr Dada Heldt-Porschardt explains the importance of setting boundaries. It can help you become your authentic self – it can even protect your immune system against offenders. 

What’s more, did you know that 80 per cent of your immune system sits in your gut? Prof. Dr Bernhard Uehleke, the physician and naturopath, will introduce you to your gut as a key player. Meanwhile, our nutrition analyst, Alexis Goertz, calls you to action by demonstrating how to make your own herbal tincture with healing benefits. 

“No pain, no gain?” Forget it. Dr Pouria Taheri, MD and sports medicine doctor, knows why it’s just as important in sports as in life to allow your body sufficient regeneration phases. Our trainer Juri Maier then introduces you to a training routine – your base for an entire body mobilization.

Let’s also combat your tiredness. You can train yourself to become well rested. Our mind-body practitioner, Steph Cusak, will take you on a meditation exploration with Yoga Nidra. You will also gain a deeper understanding of the connection between sleep and your immune system. Plus, throughout the entire course, there will be different daily practices. Your challenge everyday is building new routines, as part of your new lifestyle.
